The Lodge at Deadwood | Deadwood, SD

We are excited to host the 2022 Region 8 Head Start Conference in beautiful Deadwood, SD! The conference will begin in the morning on Tuesday, October 25 with a social that evening. Day two will be a full day of sessions and the conference will conclude after a closing keynote and sponsored luncheon on Thursday, October 27th. There will be a home visitor track throughout the conference.
 
A room block is reserved at The Lodge at Deadwood. You can reserve rooms by calling 877-393-5634 and letting them know you are part of the Region 8 Head Start Association block. Reservations will be accepted until the cut-off date on Friday, September 23 2022. 
 
The closest airport is the Rapid City Regional Airport in Rapid City, SD. If you are flying and will need a shuttle to the hotel, The Lodge at Deadwood has a complementary shuttle to and from the airport. You will need to coordinate with the hotel on arranging pick up.
